For We Think Alone, 2013, July convinced 10 high-profile figures, including Catherine Opie, to share personal emails on the subjects of fear, money, President Obama, business and music, among other topics. July will speak about the exhibition Catherine Opie: 700 Nimes Road, which presents images of the Bel-Air, California, residence of the late actress Elizabeth Taylor. Artists on Artists is a new series that builds upon MOCA’s tradition of examining works and exhibitions through the voice of the artist. Where:  Marina del Rey Parasailing When: Wednesday-Sunday. Price: $90 per person.  Paintballing: If you like extreme action sports, then paintballing is the the outing for you. If you think of yourself as a well-informed person, who periodically checks their CNN app and can comment about the nature of the various conflicts around the world, it’s time to prove yourself. Strap on some camo and grab a gun, because it’s time to see what real-life combat feels like. Paintballing is great for groups, or just the individual (I’m talking to you, introverts). Invite that kid you’ve always hated and take out your aggression with some compressed C02 and hard balls of plastic filled with paint.Where: Hollywood Sports When: Monday-SundayPrice: $70 walk-on best package.  Hiking: We live in possibly one of the most beautiful places in North America. This Spring Break, get out and see the view! Whether it be a stroll along the beach (for those who prefer more mellow inclines) or rock climbing the cliff on the North Side of Little Dume Cove. Take a walk with a nice view, and bring some friends for company (unless you are an introvert and prefer to be alone). Where: Check out Point Dume, Runyon Canyon and Temescal Canyon  When: Whenever the sun’s a shining Price: Varies. Some parking might be more expensive and some might be free.
