Runners-up were Saunders, Landaverde and Levin.Bryn Boyd, Activities Director at Samo and head of ASB, believes the competition was a huge success.“I was really impressed with the ASB committee that put it on because they did everything from start to finish. It was truly a student run production between ASB and the Theater Tech Class.” Boyd said. “I also like how we had essentially two competitions running at the same time.”Smith enjoyed the entire experience of competing in the Mr. Viking competition, and as one of the ending events to his high school career.“It was a lot of fun. There was no jealousy or who’s going to win, that type of stuff. It was a really nice exchange of talents,” Smith said. “It’s been a great four years. I’m trying to do as much stuff as I can before I graduate.”Overall it was another successful Samo event with a new twist to it, having the first ever Ms. Viking competition. With the $10 tickets, it was also a good fundraiser for Samo towards all Samo activities.
