Boys golf loses to Mira Costa

On Mon. March 27, the boys golf team lost to Mira Costa High School by a score of 212-204 at the Rancho Park Golf Course.Mira Costa is one of their toughest opponents in Ocean League and they continued to challenge the team. “Not one of us played near our potential at all,” Sam Cockrell (’18) said.The team usually scores around 190, and some believe that the higher team score is the result of challenges mentally. “Personally I think we weren't fully prepared mentally going into the match,” Cockrell said.Next, the boys will be playing Beverly Hills High School on Mon. April 17 at the Rancho Park Golf Course.
