Girls lacrosse loses in second match up with Culver City

On Wed. March 22, Samo’s girl’s lacrosse team lost to Culver City High School by a score of 14-4. “I expected them to be a really good team, they already beat us last Wednesday,” Iris Watanabe (’18) said. “I expected everyone to play their best and have a good time.”Although the girls started the game with low energy, the team picked up momentum in the second half, refocusing and working more as a team.“At first, we were really nervous when they scored the first goal but after the first quarter I felt like the team really came together and we started playing like a team which led us to a goal,” Cat Johnson (’19).In their next coming games, the girls have high hopes for a stronger performance and a winning game. “[For the next game,] I hope we play really well and have fun,” Johnson said.
