NEWS:An article about the measles outbreak in Samo's Infant and Toddler Center (ITC)  incorrectly reported that Social Studies teacher Zach Cuda 's child was diagnosed with measles.  His child was exposed to the measles at the ITC, but his child never had the measles.  The staff of "The Samohi" sincerely apologizes for the error. The graphic that accompanied the article about the measles outbreak incorrectly stated that unvaccinated students were sent home from school on Jan. 20, 2015.  No unvaccinated Samo students were ever sent home as a result of the baseball coach's case.  Further, the graphic stated that the Disneyland measles outbreak began Dec. 20, 2015.  It should be Dec. 20, 2014.  It also misstates the date of the return to the ITC of the quarantined babies as Feb. 13; it was Feb. 23.An article about the Winter Formal incorrectly reported that a breathalyzer was used to determine whether some students had used alcohol before or during the dance.  According to Samo Principal Eva Mayoral, no breathalyzer was used.In the article, "Project Safe Zone Welcomes New Advisor, "  Mr. Graham Lockett's quote in the third column and the pull quote the "G"  was inadvertently omitted from LGBTQ+.  Also, due to an editing error, the writer's name is spelled incorrectly.  It should read Lillian Graham. OPINION: A glossary accompanying  the article about how society should catch up to culture's changing attitudes toward gender incorrectly identified the terms in the initialism "LGBTQA+". T stands for "transgender" and not "transsexual."   Q is now commonly understood as "queer"  and not "questioning".  Furthermore, it was noted by members of GSA who brought these errors to our attention that the preferred and more inclusive initialism is LGBTQIA.  The staff of "The Samohi" would like to apologize for any offense caused by our errors. Because of an editing error, a sidebar quote attributed to Pedro Martinez should state "conflict was incredibly skewed" and not "conflict was incredible skewed." Because of an editing error, News Editor Gabe Ziaukas's name is incorrectly spelled in the staff box. FEATUREBecause of an editing error, the byline of the article, "The Crown that Covers" misstated the writer's name.  It should be Muhammad Yusuf Tarr.
