Samo takes a loss against Lawndale

On Oct. 6, Samo and Lawndale fans gathered in the stadium to watch the two teams battle it out for the win. Giving full effort and not giving up at any point during the game, Samo lost with the final score of 46-0. The first quarter began with both teams high in confidence and ready to give the game their all. In the first two minutes of the game Lawndale scored their first touchdown trailing ahead of Samo by seven points. As both teams attempted to score multiple times Lawndale got their second touchdown six minutes before the end of the first-quarter. The second quarter began with multiple touchdown at times and an injury from Samo's lineup. At 6:53 seconds into the second quarter, Lawndale scored their third touchdown of the game but missed the extra point, extending the lead from Samo 20-0. The third-quarter was wrapping up until a player from Lawndale suddenly ran past Samo's  defense and scored the final touchdown of the first half, ending it at 27-0.Halftime came around and both the teams went back to the locker rooms to gain some motivation and reflect on their game. Samo came into the third quarter with more energy and confidence. They gave it their all until once again, Lawndale went past Samo's defense and scored another touchdown, extending the lead 34-0. As both teams put in 100 percent energy, trying to defend and tackle, Lawndale scored another two touchdowns before the end of the third quarter.The fourth quarter began with another injury from Samo’s lineup. Lawndale maneuvered themselves past Samo’s defense and scored another two touchdowns, ending the game with the final score of 60-0.
