I House bathroom Flex time hosted by juul club
Due to overwhelming student feedback, the second and first-floor Innovation Building bathrooms have been officiated as Flex Time options for next year’s Flex-tastic schedule. Since the bathrooms were such popular destinations during the November and January Flex Time pilots, Samo’s Juul club decided to fight for its implementation as a permanent Flex option. The bathrooms will feature a variety of educational options, such as a weekly “Mint or Mango” socratic seminars, a “brownie” recipe-swap and lessons on the emerging art of smoke rings. As one of Samo’s most lucrative and powerful clubs, the fight for a bathroom Flex time was light work. With their friends in “high” places, Juul Club has control over many aspects of the school, including the fire alarms and the big stalls. “Yeah, I was posting my 70th spam post of the morning of a selfie of me and da juul when I thought...omg this should be a real thing. I wanted to give other juulers to opportunity to hone their sport,” Juul Club President Nico Tyne (’19) said. In response to their recent success in their “wake and bake sales” outside of Whole Foods on the corner of 15th and Montana, Juul Club has announced their appearance at the next Club Day. Here, they also hope to promote involvement of potential club members. In an effort to eliminate any students choosing the option who peskily need to pee or wash their hands (clearly getting in the way of one’s dome), the club changed the selection protocol from Samo’s typical Flex-time sign up form. To select the bathrooms as your choice for Flex-time next year, one simply needs to Venmo their sus friend $20.99 publically and caption it, “reminding me to bring my Chromebook <3”.The only requirements for becoming member is that you sign a Non-Disclosure agreement swearing you’ll never hit the dome of a Suorin or use anything less than that 5% strength; good-good. Since its ratification, Juul Club has been working hard to organize activities for next year. One of their most promising projects is AA (Addict’s Anonymous): a safe-place for students to turn to when they’re hitting that 45-minute hump after quitting.Tyne and the rest of Juul Club look forward to all of the innovative activities they’ll Flex next year and to get more acquainted with the Santa Monica Fire Department dispatch staff.
