Prom Attire Trends

With celebrating prom ‘23, it is no surprise that people’s camera rolls have been filled with photos of their attire at the event. Looking through the memories of the Met-themed dance, it seems it was undeniably colorful. A change from the previous years, fewer black and white outfits were spotted, leaving people dressing in all shades of the rainbow.

Corseted tops:

Incorporated in many a gown at class of 2023’s prom, corseted tops and or dresses with some sort of structural boning, seem to be paving the way at The Met themed event.

Ribbon:

Taking notice of every prom attire detail, no matter how small and dainty, the use of ribbon within peoples outfits did not go unnoticed. Being a consistent feature in this years school dance fashions.

Pearls:

As we admire many outfits at this year's senior dance, you can’t help but notice the love for pearls. A forever classic jewelry staple, it’s nice to see the piece making its comeback in the 2020’s.

Matching:

How we do love a trend, it is nice to see that once again people are matching within them and their dates outfit. Whether it be the color of ones tie to their dates dress, or the flowers between a pair's corsage and or boutonniere, this thoughtful collaboration is always nice to see.
