Live, laugh, love with @samohi.memes

Cafeteria nachos. Dee. Dr. Shelton. Three of the most well-known topics at SAMO, and it’s all thanks to @samohi.memes. This account first graced Instagram on Dec. 2, 2021, with 15 posts in one day. But it really started to get a lot of attention when they accepted follower submissions. Now the account has over 800 followers, so I think it’s time they get some recognition. Let’s take a deeper dive, shall we?
As of Feb. 15, cafeteríai nachos, Dee and discovery building slander are all tied for most talked about on the account. All of which have 8 posts, but the discovery building is what started it all. The first-ever post on the account was slandering the discovery building (as one does) and praising the language building. This became a wonderful topic that bonded the school together in the form of cyberbullying. @samohi.memes is doing what ASB only wishes they could: bring students together.
Dr. Shelton also seems to have his moments of fame on the account. After his beloved Bangles lost the Super Bowl (go Rams!), @samohi.memes was quick to edit Shelton into a Rams jersey and poke fun at his unfortunate loss. Now, we don’t encourage bullying our principal, but the posts themselves were pretty funny. (Dr. Shelton, if you’re reading this, we love you and your love for the Bangles.)
But of course, with every celebrity, they have their haters. And we’re going to expose them. Right here, right now. Unfortunately, this account is just too good and every student on campus loves them. They have no haters. Absolutely none. Zero.
If you haven’t already, you should give the official school meme account a follow. And for the creators of @samohi.memes, please continue to grace us with your posts and quality content.
Unfortunately for the sake of journalism, no one was willing to confess their beliefs in fear of public ridicule, so let’s just pretend I never brought it up.
