Every day, going to school can seem like a chore. Still, with the help of teachers decorating their rooms to make them more vibrant and unique, students enjoy seeing every decoration, from old photographs to freshly new student paintings around the classroom. Having creativity displayed all over campus, Samo’s teachers hold some of the most expressive classrooms, embellished with their authenticity. Looking at various classrooms scattered across campus, Samo teachers said they enjoy bringing life into their classrooms to make students’ days better.

My dearest Invincible, as I write to you I cannot stop thinking about the new season. As every Thursday rolls along, I can no longer contain my excitement, my heart racing and my stomach filled with butterflies. Traditionally passed down from generation to generation in America, typically on the father’s side, last names can hold various meanings. Across the world, different countries have different cultural significance in their surnames, bringing people together while telling stories through waves of each generation. As the holiday season has arrived, Samo students have endless opinions. In every busy hallway or crowded lunch table, you’ll hear debates over anything and everything festive - from the tastiest new holiday drink from Starbucks to arguments over the best Christmas movie. Football looks to next season after missing playoffs
The Samo Vikings’ football season officially started on Aug. 23 with their 26-0 win against Chino Hills High School. After ten games in the regular season, the Vikings ended with an overall record of 4-6 and a record of 1-5 in the Pioneer League.

Samo football looks to secure spot in CIF playoffs
The Samo football team currently holds an overall record of 4-5 as they head towards the end of their season. With four league games down, Samo has been gearing up for their final home game against Peninsula that will conclude their regular season. Special leadership has been shown by the captains throughout the season that has built a stronger team and community of players.

The 2024 Olympics happened this past summer, from July 26 to Aug. 11, in Paris, France. The Olympic games brought people together, uniting them behind their TV screens while they supported their nation’s leading athletes in search of a gold medal.
