What to do this weekend: Samo Homecoming

Fatimah KhanStaff Writer

One of the most anticipated times of the whole school year is coming up. The excitement over Homecoming is culminating this weekend, and whether you spend your weekend celebrating Homecoming festivities or not, there is plenty to do at school and around town.

Samo’s Homecoming dance will start at 7 p.m. at the Greek Theater, which will be the first time that ASB will be using this space for the annual dance.

Instead of ending your fun packed weekend by hitting the books, make the last couple hours of the weekend entertaining. Visit the Brentwood Art Festival for only ten dollars on Sunday morning. The festival starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m., and will feature art and craft displays, an international food court, live entertainment and other activities.Regardless of whether you spend your weekend cheering with your fellow Vikings for our football team or distancing yourself from campus, know that a fun weekend is in store. And if you can’t get enough of what’s in store this weekend, come back next week and see what else is new to the social scene.fkhan@thesamohi.com
