Club Day alterations facilitate easier purchases

The first Club Day of the year is quickly approaching with new alterations — the Associated Student Body (ASB) will no longer require students to purchase tickets in order to buy food. Instead, all sales will be made in cash.

“The main reason we are changing systems is to make Club Day easier for students,” ASB member Evan Hiltunen (’16) said. “Sometimes it was hard to get tickets and many kids would lose theirs before Club Day. Now, more students can participate."Students will be offered food from a range of restaurants during an extended lunch in order to benefit Samo’s student run clubs. Samo’s bi-annual Club Day will take place in the Science Quad. Club Day will commence today, Friday, Nov. 7.jsadler@thesamohi.com
