Introducing the new House Principals: S-House

Following the 2013 administration hiring initiative,  Blane Watson now holds the position of S House principal after the 2013 hiring initiative, Blane Watson now holds the position of S-House principal at Samo.According to Watson, he came into Samo as S-House principal with new ideas pertaining to the college entrance rate of Samo students."It’s important that we continue to support a college-going culture where all Samo students have equitable access to the  learning programs and resources needed to get them into a four year university and be successful life beyond college," Watson said.According to Watson, it is important to honor those student leaders that do the right thing in social situations when no one is watching."I want to support that type of impetus in students—going above and beyond to help other family members in times of need and to be the change agent that our school will always need," Watson said.According to Watson, it is important for Samo students to treat one another genuinely and with truthful appreciation for one another."My work at Samo will be dedicated to helping students get ready for the challenges of life careers and supporting our staff members so that they feel inspired more and more each day to do our great work here in our community of learners," Watson said.
