Baseball season wrap up
Led by head coach Kurt Schwengel, this year’s varsity baseball team has had a historic year. As of now, the team is undefeated in Ocean League and after batting .381, the team has broken its single season record for batting averages. As a result, Samo is ranked 105th in the state and has already clinched a spot in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs.

Swim Season Wrap Up
Despite losing multiple juniors and seniors from last year, Samo’s boys’ and girls’ swim teams had one of their most successful years in recent memory.
Baseball aims to maintain a shot at Ocean league Championships
Despite starting their league season with an inconsistent record, the varsity baseball team has hit their stride with several consecutive wins, leading up to a win Monday, April 23 against Torrance High School.
Swim team enters league finals despite loss of TSM swimmers
Despite having faced many obstacles this season, Samo swim has dominated at numerous meets this season and hopes to continue on to win league for both boys and girls.

This season, Samo’s boys’ and girls’ swim teams hope to continue setting personal records, dominating league meets, and bonding as a team.
Girls' swim wins third consecutive league championship
After a nearly undefeated year, losing only to El Segundo, it was difficult to predict who was going to win league. The competition was fierce between Samo and El Segundo and it boiled down to whose team wanted it more and who would fight harder for the win.
